As I recall Lucus was in control of the boxcar and either gave or SOLD it to Nicky :?:

I think Nicky said he still had it.
I also remember that some of those that left with Frank 53 claimed that it
should go to them since they had done the work to make it possible.
I am not disputing that. It may be so. There is more to the story but I don't know it.

It was on it way around the scheduled tour and it eventually made it’s way to Nick. I think it’s still in Florida

A link to 'another forum's' travelling boxcar:
http://www.gregssandbox.com/boxcar/list.htm

Thank you!,
Greg McMurry<boxcar@trainyard.net>
for the help in getting my listing up.

From the same site...
a shot of the MTJ car & the 'another forum' car...
http://www.gregssandbox.com/boxcar/luca ... g_0052.jpg
...Thanks to Lucas!

"Rumors" I've heard about the disposition of either car
are similar to what's already been posted here, and on other
sources.

Notice that all posters on Greg's site have listings (index.html) for one or more shots except one near the end. ????

Little Nicky confiscated the boxcar and refused to send it to anyone else on the list There were about ten people waiting He threw away all the mementos that people left in the box car The boxcar was originally mine

Wow, appalling behavior. Surprised even given his general lack of respect for others.

Since you were not involved back then you don't know the whole story about what happened.

There was a lot of appalling behavior created by others. :(

I had numerous interactions with Nickie boy. He was aggressive, hostile and usually in the wrong. If he was mistreated it wasn’t by me. He was quite sociopathic in his interactions with me. I know his mother had just died but that doesn’t justify taking your anger and grief out on others.

What you don't know is that some of those involved in the car were very nasty about his mother passing away to him. It was on another forum what they said. Not all the crap that took place was on this forum that is why you didn't see it.

One of the people involved in the car came close to driving a young Bipolar person to suicide.

Like I said, it got destroyed. He even posted photos of that destruction here on MTJ, probably just to rub it in  . If I had known that was going happen, I might have "lost" the car somewhere between the on-the-track shot and mailing it off to whomever. Anyway I am glad that I had the chance to run it a little bit; first at a Rutgers model transit meet, three friends' places, and then at home before I sent it off to the next person. Here it is at Rutgers:

And then at home surrounded by Hookers:

Being "cleaned up" after the previous visitors had left:

And finally being sent off, to Fort Mill, SC, I believe:

And that is the last that I saw of it after mailing it off.
