Nothing new photo-wise from me this week. I made some more adjustments on the track plan, based on my son's suggestions but haven't taken any pics. We did order some plasticville buildings & decide to do the layout in a classic postwar style, so I should have some progress pics next week.
Thinking something along these lines -
NS ES44DC 7507 leads 83A through Elkhorn, WV
A pair of SD40-2s lead W086 through Houston, NC on the Monroe Sub
The Virginian heritage unit is on the point of Jersey bound 212 as it heads northbound through Landis, NC in the pouring rain
NS ES44DC 7640 leads 48A over the ACWR in Oakboro, NC on the original Norfolk Southern main line
NCDOT F59PH 1810 is framed by the iconic gazebo at Landis, NC as it leads northbound Amtrak 74 through the pouring rain

Christopher.
I love that postwar style. It feels like the 1950s. LOVE IT

Thanks guys. Looking fwd to getting to work on the layout. My son keeps asking me when the accessories will start working lol
If I get some time this week, I'm going to paint some roadbed under the tracks.
