I think I know some of these people. There is Thick Neck Sally, Uneven Eyebrow Louie, and Abby Sciuto.

Wow, was Lionel going for that train survivor look? (like of that train wreck in Washington the other day?)

MSRP for this set of 24 hand-painted figures is $29.99

Or were they painted by WE HONEST?

Some scary looking people

Made it race against time.

I suppose if these figures were in passenger cars they would go zipping by and the details would be nicer looking.

I figured it out. Lionel made a mistake releasing this figure pack in the USA.

This is really the Yakuza (Japanese mafia) figure pack meant to go in the upcoming bullet train sets.

At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it (unless they threaten to cut off a finger)

How do you like these figures, Wayne, and guys? Any of them remind you of folks you have known? Some reminded me of characters I have come across, which is why I used them (except I didn't know anybody who was clothing-shiny, like on the back porch seen here, and needed a dull-coating..  ) :D Murph

They all seem to suffer from an infestation of caterpillars that have eaten their eyebrows....and they sort of look like some of the lesser quality Barclay figures that have been badly painted.

24 / $29.99 vs. the prices of Arttista and other other higher quality figures..........

Yes, I like them. I recognize them from Baker's Railroad Shop. I don't know what happened to Roy Baker, he seems to have disappeared from this realm of existance. He always was hard to find, hidden in the trees off Highway 97.

Well, I am troubled to hear that.
His address just received a Christmas package from my wife and me, today, at 3:00pm, so perhaps we will hear from him tomorrow. If I do not hear from him, I will call him, at some point after Christmas Day, and then let you know about him, if you wish. (I just don't want it to look like I am looking for a Thank You by contacting him first. I can give you his phone number, if you wish.)
