Weekend Photos - 10/20/17

Postby christopher2035 » Fri Oct 20, 2017 7:58 am

Happy Fall Friday!

Big news for me this week is I was finally able to pick up a premier 611. I went w/ the 'Spirit of Roanoke' version.

Love the Valley shot. Weird play on making reality look like a model :-)

The weathering on 8031 is outstanding...you'll have to show us how you do that.

Nothing exciting to report. Made a quick swing through York today...visited a couple of my favorite members. Picked up this nice prewar Flyer 480 for a set I'm pulling together:

The Premiere 611 is gorgeous. I'm looking forward to seeing it run on your layout.

You have become an expert at scenery. Some of those scenes look real. And the photography is very professional.

Now if you would spend a few less dollars on trains you could buy those kids some shoes.

Christopher,
I have been through Welch several times. Your photography makes it look much better than I remember.
That must be a characteristic of a good photographer. We live a half hour from Savannah and see photos
of the town and try to figure where it was taken. We can have the magazine with the address and still
have trouble. Good ones just make stuff look better. If I need to say it again, beautiful.

I support thread drift.
