Do they come with all the gearing and minus the motors?
If not, can the necessary gearing be purchased?
One of the OGR guys has a Seaboard C-420 for sale which I wouldn't mind having, but only if I can get the gearing and motors, need those to make it run under battery/remote control.

Re: Lionel Unpowered Diesel???
In general, no. Most of the time the unpowered trucks have only the gearing necessary to keep the wheels in gauge. The cost of the missing parts often add up to more than cost of buying a powered truck in the first place.

Made it race against time.

Brother, can you spare a dime?

Thanks Chuck, I'm already seeing those costs listed in my search for parts
I would get this engine but I've been trying to stay away from any more diesels and have more than I need or want now.
Best save my money for building that 2-Rail layout!
