Revell Fireboat model

Postby Arthur P. Bloom » Wed Aug 02, 2017 7:49 pm

Please forgive the slightly off-topic posting. A friend is involved in a non-profit organization located in Greenport NY, that is restoring the former NYC Fire Department fireboat "Firefighter." They are looking for the box artwork from a Revell kit of the same boat. If anyone has such a box, with artwork suitable for copying, would you please let me know and I will pass along the info. They would accept a donation, or a loan of the box. Thank you.

Kit's been re-issued a number of times. The one below is a John Steel painting

I'm trying to see if anyone has posts. I kept the JS illustration for the Nautilus kit, those were beautiful box covers

Made it race against time.
Once I built a railroad, now it's done --
Brother, can you spare a dime?
