Spent most of last week up in PA between Altoona & Pittsburgh doing some railfanning. Came back w/ a lot of pics & even some MTH NS engines :)

New NS power getting some track time -

CNJ SW1 1010 brings a short train of tank cars through Elizabeth as they head for the refineries off the Perth Amboy Branch

Awaiting rush hour at Jersey City Terminal-

Leaving Red Bank Station, the PRR K4 has the slight edge

With rush hour long past, CNJ Train Master 2401 will have a quick station stop at Red Bank, as it heads northbound towards Jersey City

NS Dash-9 9733 leads a power move westbound out of Welch tunnel in Welch, WV on the Pokey

Amtrak/NCDOT F59PH 1893 shoves Amtrak 73 under the soon to be replaced Southern signals at CP AT&O just outside of Charlotte yard

NS SD70ACe 1070, the Wabash heritage unit, leads 154 northbound through Blacksburg, SC on the NS Piedmont Division

NS ES44AC 8146 leads a late running 165 though Wytheville, VA on the Pulaski District. The S&A Heritage trails behind the ES44AC

NS AC44C6M 4026 (ex NS D9-40C 8875) leads eastbound 14G through Grazierville, PA on the Pittsburgh Line

NS Dash-9s 9212 & 9648 lead westbound 11J through CP-C at East Conemaugh, PA on the Pittsburgh Line

Those NS units look a little out of place on your layout! :mrgreen:

Follow-up question: What is that white over blue covered hopper a few cars behind the motors? It looks familiar but I can not place it.

Yeah it's Jack frost - it's an Atlas O car
I dont think the NS units look THAT out of place :)
