And now you're fully inspired, ready to descend to the basement,

Not entirely sure that's the sort of "training" I'm interested in.

You know, this was my thread.

I was minding my own business, mistakenly focusing on plans for the new layout, and then somehow this morphed into Rufus' dominatrix fixation.

WTF happened?

Where did I go wrong :?: :?: :?:

Healey said something about inspiration in the basement and that went right to Rufus' design board.

Inspiration or fear...it's a fine line.

George, sometime when you have a few minutes if you could repost your latest layout plan, that would be neat.

Sure. It's still a work in progress as there are some track items that need clean up. Areas shown in RED are pop-up or access hatches.

This is the first half of the layout (Western side).

Is there any need/desire for some run around capability inside the mill?

Wow, Chuck! That is exactly the kind of valuable feedback I was hoping for :!: Thank you so much.

That is an excellent idea and something I had not considered. I, rather myopically, viewed everything as either a push in or pull out type of operation. There is no doubt I would eventually need that sort of run-around capability. I'm going to add both the loop and the switch.

Thanks again!
