Started block-painting today. What color are train-orders?

I'm using Tamiya flat acrylics. After painting his suspenders, shoes and orders, and a bit of touch-up, I think I'll hit him with an overspray of Testors clear gloss before I dip him. I saw some slight curdling in the acrylic last time,,,want to avoid that. Otherwise he goes in the tank and we start over.

Is it my imagination or does this dude look cross-eyed? Hope he doesn't get hit by the train...

Oh, no...... I was in between......with rope, duct tape, and some cleaning supplies.........and some fava beans...
