Here are some basic guidelines for our O Gauge Train Meet–Buy Sell Trade forum. These guidelines are not all inclusive and may be changed at any time.
1. As an individual member of our forum, you can “Buy Sell Trade” all O-Gauge train and related items.
2. No commercial posts at all. Our forum is designed to be an online
interchange between collectors and hobbyists.
3. Please keep in mind that you must take responsibility for the fact
that, for the most part, you are dealing with strangers on the Internet,
and you should understand that the opportunity exists for
mis-mmunication in this kind of text-base forum.
4. Please make sure you fully understand the seller/buyer/trader’s terms
before entering an agreement.
5. Anyone choosing to conduct a transaction with another member on our
forum does so at their own risk and expense.
6. Any thread with no activity will be deleted after 14 days.
7. If you feel you have a complaint against a member, the only thing you are permitted to do on MTJ is to report it in the thread of the seller/buyer/trader ONCE. You can also make note in your signature stating your grievance with the user.
8. What you cannot do is spam the other MTJ forums with your complaints. Do not make threads complaining about transactions that have gone bad.
9. Do not make new threads in this or any other MTJ forum complaining about the “member” you are in dispute with. We will not ban members because you have a dispute with them.
10. Do not send us any “evidence,” as will not follow through on your complaints. We have no intention of mediating any disputes.
MTJ does not recommend or endorse the use of the MTJ O Gauge Train Meet Buy Sell Trade forum unless you are willing to take the responsibility for your own actions and assume all risk.
Our forums are provided free and without any kind of warranty. Any threads/posts that do not follow our guidelines will be deleted.
