No. Well before the birth of that generation; easily 50 years old. More than likely a creative cutesy term invented by the Editors of MR.

I knew there was a reason I don't buy that Mag.

I remember seeing a poem of sorts in MR or Trains in the 1950s I think.
Stuff like if 2 mouse are mice are 2 caboose cabice. If 2 goose are geese are 2 caboose cabeese.
And there was more. Sonehow they got to cabooseseeses.
I don't really remember when I read that but it could have been that long ago.

Now, you can find all sorts of arguments, almost as many as for switch versus turnout.
Just remember, if algore put it on his internet, it has to be true.

You can bastardize any word, but it doesn't make it correct.......unless you get a zillion other twits to use it. Don't like switch....tell them it's a part of a turnout and maybe they'll get it.

Of course we could use other words to describe multiple cabin cars.

Like the customer many moons ago....called me up as his Subaru had an "Umbrage of Oils". Seriously.

Or we could say a "Plethora of caboose" . Maybe just "nobody actually uses caboose cars as intended originally anymore"

Easier to say "cabeese".

Does a "looting" of cabeese produce a "protest" of locomoteeves? Or is that "looteeng"?

You'll have to get someone under 20 to translate!
