Very nice of course.
Why did you not put the side doors opposite each other?

Just to be contrarian........sort of like those box cars with the doors that open to the left. Something different.

Neat looking car, the configuration reminds me of the cabooses the MP used on its branchlines in Missouri, though those had a dozen or so coach seats for mixed svc, and I think came in an all steel version too.
Nice Work!

Thanks!

"the cabooses the MP used on its branchlines" - I have plans for one of those and box of parts set aside in the shop. Good pic in Beebe's Mixed Train Daily.

Wood work is superb. I like those windows! I personally do not do windows. Are you still using CA and GOO for adhesive?

Thanks! Fortunately, Grandt Line made windows -- glazing them is still pretty annoying. A major upgrade to their product line would be to include laser cut glazing like Tichy does.....

For metal to wood and definitely for end grain wood - yes. Majority of this car was done with Carpenter's glue and some CA in a few locations.

Rufus,
you are building cars and George is building a layout and those seem to be the only projects going on and reported here.
Keep showing them please.

I'm actually building structures (not seen anywhere...) and cars (some not seen here for articles....), building a few kits (for reviews...), etc.

At you request, I will.
