When they were building the Panama Canal one of the innovations was track shifters. They were self propelled steam cranes that ran on the track and used sets of tongs to pick up the track, move it sideways and set it back down. Movies of this operation show workers standing on the ties of the lifted sections during the procedure.
You begin flying with a full bag of luck and an empty bag for experience. The object is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.
