By the way, we saw your mom & dad this morning.....looking chipper as ever. Tried to buy them lunch but they said they weren't hungry. Was able to talk your dad into taking some Kadees.

We're working on them to go to Chicago next year....on the train, no less. Much less stress. We'll rent a car so we can chauffeur them around next time.

Amen to that. I have lifetime free travel on American Airlines, but will pay for a bedroom on Amtrak. Food is still edible, although not as spectacular as it was in 2004. Linda and I will be getting the deluxe bedroom with bath next time.

Yes, O Scale West is always great. Bob, does your post mean that you and Linda are considering going to the Chicago show in 2018, or even to O Scale West this year? I'd love to see you.

If we go to a show, it will be OSW. I teach Thursday nights, and that sort of interferes. We should take the Decathlon - but I love the drive up 101 (except for those who drive in the left lane).

I will be there again this year. Hope to see some of you there.
