Keith is has been buying model companies indeed. He has lots of nice parts and is good on the product he sells. I once had an issue with the Southern flatcar he bought out from Jim King and then put out under his name. It had ridiculous parting lines on the sides that couldn't be rid of without sanding off rivet detail. In any case, a picture to him and a week or two, and he redid whatever mold/tooling he had and I had a perfect casting sent to me. Definitely will buy more from him in the future as my modeling needs.

Don't think it's Wiseman, unless he sent someone else up to do the buying.

Pretty sure it's not; Keith sells under the user name of wisemodserv on eBay.

After second review, looks like I made a mistake, though Wiseman appears to be only 21 minutes away from this seller. In any case, this seller makes it extremely easy to see what you're getting. Then again, since its on ebay, its easy to get your money back if any seller tries to purposefully sell an item in lesser condition "than they think it is", since Ebay sides more with the buyer than the seller.

More of the pieces auctioned by Stout are now listed on ebay -- search brassmonger's listings to see them. The starting bids are higher than what Stout sold the pieces for.

Unlike the rest of us buying high and selling low,

I resemble that remark more than I'd like to admit. Lost money on every 3rd rail product I ever purchased, even thought they were still new in the box. Don't go there anymore.
