Red Caboose parts?

Look at Atlas' ads. Their tankers are based on the former Intermountain line and are 8000 gallons. The Red Caboose kits were 10,000 gallon cars (I had several). I always liked the proportions of the 10K cars with their larger domes.
It has been some time since the RC cars were readily available. Just for laughs I did a search on the Bay, and found one tank car. Says "weathered" in the description......looks like it was weathered with a hammer. I remember buying them for $39.95.

That ad has been in eBay for at least two years. I had a bug about Conoco tanks cars and I spent a couple of years looking for different #s and always ran into this one-a piece of crap. Anyway, I bought a few, always for $25-40............
And I did have it backwards, Red Caboose 10K, Intermountain 8K.

I see an 11,000 gal tankcar listed here, but no 8,000:

Every time I've called the Atlas parts guys they have gone out of their way, actually looking to make sure they have the parts I wanted on the shelf while I wait on the phone.

Rex,
Bill called my back and said to give you his phone number. I'll do that and you can call him about the tank car parts, if you want. Just let me know if you still need them.
