Everyone will be renamed "Bob" on this forum - that will eliminate lots of confusion,

Somewhere in the land of Barnes and Noble is a book about Roberts that become Bob. Anyway i'm not really a Robert. I'm Robby.
Glad i made my elevated bridge level. It came up .75 of an inch lower on the other side. I should have got a baseline before i started. This old house i live moves around from season to season. Everything was nice and level when i started 3 years ago.

Thank you for the schematic BobD.
I added resistor calculations to your schematic. Do you see any advantages to series LEDs? (Hint: resistor power dissipation.)

Thanks Wayne,

Didn't even occur to me when I wired it up the first time, no wonder I had a couple burn out.

I got carried away with putting each building in parallel with the supply and carried it over to individual LEDs.

I would have suggested that, but it seemed a frightful oversimplification...

I've been called a few names before, can't/won't post them here

When I worked at NNSY, a number of guys with unusual last names got "canned" to the nuclear section. One of the old hands couldn't pronounce anybody's name so he made names up for us...mine was Dubar. That's probably the only thing I recall about being in that section for the 6 weeks I was in "hell".

A little more progress with the bridge. It's kind of funny how things workout. One day i'll start taking down notes when i finish for the night. That way the next day wont be a surprise. After i made some adjustments nothing lined up. Then i took out my adjustments and everything lined up. Blame it on the house. not the fool who forgets what he's doing.

COOL layout Robert, I like the way the the trestle straddles the lower track; I'm assuming you have plans to build up some appropriate super-structure around it.
Keep these coming as you make improvements.

Re-do part one sub structure. Birch plywood strips. The first deck was strong enough to hold weight just odd looking. This will bridge will be a deck only. With the poles on the backside holding wire.

 TRESTLES

When I was a kid I used to try walking across the trestle on the ACL line near my house, on the way to the baseball field. I still get the "all overs" (as my wife used to say) just thinking about walking on that thing, never liked looking down thru the ties.

Nice work Robert! I need to get more of those clamps like you show in the photos.
