Canadian government reports euthanasia accounted for 4% of all deaths in 2022
There have been 44,958 MAID deaths since the procedure was legalized in 2016

A new report on the number of deaths from euthanasia in Canada revealed the procedure has exponentially risen in use the last several years, accounting for more than 4% of all deaths in the country in 2022.

The government of Canada published its fourth annual report on "Medical Assistance in Dying" (MAID) this month, a document revealing that the number of MAID deaths – commonly referred to as euthanasia or assisted suicide – in the country last year was 13,241.

The report stated, "In 2022, there were 13,241 MAID provisions reported in Canada, accounting for 4.1% of all deaths in Canada." It noted that this represented a "growth rate of 31.2%" for the procedure compared to the previous year.

How long before one of those takes off with someone in it?

I see they call it the shuttle....maybe it should be shittle.

Doesn't seem to offer much privacy, but someone has to keep the squirrels entertained.

Apparently the porch pirates have upped the method of operation.

JUST TAKE THE WHOLE TRUCK AT GUNPOINT. :(

Maryland UPS driver carjacked at gunpoint, truck stolen in broad daylight
An armed carjacking was caught on a doorbell camera

Doorbell video footage caught the moment a female UPS driver was surrounded and carjacked at gunpoint in a Maryland neighborhood in broad daylight.

Prince George’s County police responded to the housing development in Glenarden around 2 p.m. on Thursday, after the frantic UPS driver made a call to 911 following the harrowing incident.

"They just pulled a gun out on me," the UPS driver is heard saying in Ring doorbell video footage, obtained by FOX 5.

In the footage, the group of thieves is seen surrounding the driver before taking off in the large brown truck.

How many porch pirates are going to upgrade to hijacking the entire truck after finding out about this one?

Huge waves in California up to 20'
One went over the seawall and sent 9 to the hospital some with broken bones. They were probably watching the waves.

WTF ?

Toronto police advise locals to leave car keys near front doors to avoid confrontations with violent thieves

'Home invasions and break and enters for auto theft occurrences rose 400 percent in 2023,' police say
https://www.foxnews.com/media/toronto-p ... nt-thieves

As car thefts have spiked in Toronto, Canada, local police are prescribing new safety measures so that locals can avoid violent encounters with thieves.

One of the recent bits of advice included Toronto Police telling residents of the town of Etobicoke to leave their car key fobs near the door to avoid being attacked in their homes by potential burglars.

According to police, the number of car thefts in the city has more than doubled in recent years. In 2023, more than 12,000 vehicles were reported stolen. In 2019, just over 5,000 were reported stolen.

Kind of hard to protect yourself and your belongings when you’re unarmed. I guess they’ll go find your car and tell the nice criminals to leave you alone in the future.

The Dems, libs, snowflakes would like to have it this way in our country too. I'll be happy to put my keys by the front door, but I'll be hiding so when they get in the car, the last image their devious little brain will see is a pistol or double barrel shotgun going off.
