Yeah, I saw that. Learned quite a bit reading his OGR column and a couple videos I picked up. Talked to him once at York...seemed like a heck of a nice guy.

Very sad indeed, Both Barrett and Ed Boyle were two of the class acts over there. I've enjoyed the articles of both over the years, and each had both the class and good business sense to stay out of the majority of the forum discussions, posting only when there was something positive to contribute.

Wait a minute. You just mentioned Ed Boyle in the Past Tense (!), along with Jim. Why?

Just inadvertent lumping of them together by not choosing words carefully. He's still with us as far as I know.

Thank you for reassuring me. He has been a friend for decades, even back when OGR's headquarters was in Pennsylvania. He developed a strong interest in our layout, which my wife and I appreciated very much.

Yes, Ed's still kicking...saw a response from him on the OGR thread regarding Jim's passing.
