Joe Biden + Hillary Clinton

Postby HONDO74 » Thu Feb 13, 2020 7:50 pm

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told Ellen DeGeneres in a Thursday interview that you "never say never" to a request to be a vice presidential candidate.

Clinton, the Democratic nominee for president in 2016, said she "probably won't be asked" to join a presidential ticket, but didn't rule out the possibility.

Joe Biden should select Hillary Clinton now as his Vice presidential candidate before any more primaries. That would be an unstoppable team. And if elected and something happened to Joe ( cough cough ), Hillary would become the president.

Unless that upsets Bernie Sanders and he decides to pursue the presidency as a 3rd party candidate. That would throw a monkey wrench into the election.

The Democratic party has leaned so far in the direction of socialism, they are unappealing as a whole.

I have to agree. I think both Biden and Clinton are non-starters.

Maybe, maybe not. Lets see what happens with the Nevada primaries. The biggest sway in Nevada is the The Culinary Workers Union's. They announced Thursday it would not be endorsing a candidate in the state’s primary contest.

They traded concessions on wages or other benefits in exchange for health care in previous contracts. And they don't want to lose that to medicare for all.

There is a long long list of people who had a unfortunate accident who were connected to the Clintons.

You can change the name of the candidates, but it's still the same rhetoric. Maybe you would like where you live to be a sanctuary city, or you could put up some ILLEGAL refugees (the Dems can't seem to understand the concept of ILLEGAL). How would you feel if you were an immigrant and went through the process of obtaining citizenship legally? I have some friends that did so, and they are not pleased with the idea of people just waltzing across the border when they spent the time to become citizens legally. That's just the start of why I won't vote for the Dems. Voting for me has come down to voting for the side I dislike the LEAST.

Today's democrats are definitely not the classical liberals of the JFK democrats, They left me standing in the dust when they took off to the far left field. :(

You forgot hatred.

Murph you came of age in the same period of time that I did.... Personal opinion..... The Vietnam war changed this country. How many thousands came home in body bags. And those that made it home alive got spit on like it was their fault. They were drafted, they had no choice.

And for what. to contain communism. And today the American people will buy all the cheaply made crap they can get from the biggest communist country in the world. :( :( :(

My lifelong friend from my childhood neighborhood made it back from his assignment in Vietnam. We had been in high school together; afterward, he went to Vietnam to be a soldier, and I went to college to become a teacher.

My strongest feeling toward that whole period is that he came back to us, alive and well.

The Kent State episode made a big impression on me, too, since my college was just down the road, relatively, from that school.

Hillary put Trump in the WH. I can't see where she would help Biden.

New, new bombshell: Bloomberg has announced that he will consider Felonia Milhous von Pantsuit as his VP...

A major difference between the parties and their likely candidates is that the Democrats will increase taxes on the wealthy and corporations to fund the NIH, education, healthcare and infrastructure, and the Republicans will decrease taxes on corporations and the wealthy to do pretty much nothing of social or economic value. We're moving towards a Russian style kleptocracy rather than a Scandinavia responsible community oriented society. That, plus the sociopathic and legally suspect behavior of the current office holder makes the Presidential choice easy for me in November. Anyone but Trump :). Any candidate who might serve in Washington in the House, Senate or White House and stand up to this narcissistic, bullying, ignoramus of a thug.

I agree it's time to move on from Biden, Clinton, and perhaps anyone over about 70 in either party. Too much risk of unplanned succession, early insidious dementia, etc. Nature wins all those battles. Would readily vote for a vice-presidential candidate over 70, but would prefer not for the presidency. Realize 70 is arbitrary.

Bloomberg campaign downplays report he is considering Hillary Clinton as running mate
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bloomb ... ton-for-vp

Billionaire Mike Bloomberg’s presidential campaign on Saturday downplayed a report that he is considering 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton as his pick for vice president.

The Drudge Report, citing a source close to Bloomberg’s campaign, reported that Clinton was under consideration after internal polling found that a Bloomberg-Clinton ticket would be a “formidable force.”

But the Bloomberg campaign quickly tamped down that report but fell short of denying it outright.

The latest in the media polls is now showing Biden pulling well ahead of Sanders and there is a lot of conversation that both Biden and Sanders should select a woman as a running mate. That way if something happened to the old white guys the democrats would have a woman president.

So if having a woman for president is so important to democrats, why didn’t democratic women turn out for the women candidates? With all the so-called enthusiasm of the anti-trump women, it certainly didn’t translate into votes.

Nothing wrong with a woman as being VP running mate. Lets us see who the dems pick for Joe's running mate. It won't be up to Joe....he will be told who his running mate will be.
