I'm a big fan of Mark Knopfler.

Always liked Knopfler's playing......there was that one concert where the band's 2nd guitarist was not available and he introduced the the guy sitting in and the best we could do on short notice, some guy named Clapton

Never heard anyone that sounds quite like Knopfler.....just stumbled across this one and the music and the video blew me away! I heard that Clapton guy did OK. He does some stuff by the late J.J. Cale who I like quite a bit.

Interesting guy. Looked him up on Wikipedia. Seems he has been married 3 times. I think that might belie the line in "Money For Nothing" bout get your chicks for free, cause I'm betting 2 of them cost a bit in the end. Still plays a H*ll of a guitar.
