Re: Bitcoin
A Ponzi scheme dressed up in high tech clothing still fails to rise to the level of investment, unsafe or otherwise, in my thinking.

Re: Bitcoin
I heard, today, on the News, that North Korea has hacked into South Korea and stolen their Bitcoin, to the tune of 7,000,000 which is equal, presently, to 80,000,000. They did this by pretending to be a company looking a new CEO, and provided a link for anybody interested in applying. Apparently, one fellow took the bait and clicked on the link, giving NK instant access.

Re: Bitcoin
Just now , on the News, they reported that there is a car dealership in NY that is accepting Bitcoin as downpayment or payment-in-full for vehicles.
The news station also reported that one Bitcoin is worth $14,000, presently.

And that one fellow just happened to have a bitcoin wallet on his computer, with 7 million bitcoins in it?

When people grasp the concept of how many diamonds are out there. That crash will be bigger and effect more people.

Agreed...read up on the origination of the so-called 'tennis bracelet'...enlightening. Diamond scarcity is a hoax promulgated by de Beers.
Ultimately Bitcoin will get sorted as well. The first ratchet down came with the formalization of trading futures. The emperor has no clothes...
Re: Bitcoin
The fact that De Beers has long manipulated diamond prices is common knowledge. The value of everything is subject to the whims of human nature. If you were stranded on the proverbial desert island would you rather have a chest full of gold or an artesian spring and a stock of MRE's?
