I don't believe that people should take their own lives without deep and thoughtful reflection over a considerable period of time. I do believe strongly, however, that the right to do so is one of the most fundamental rights that anyone in a free society should have. For me, much of the world makes no sense, but my feelings about what I am doing ring loud and clear to an inner ear and a place where there is no self, only calm.

Williams first attempted suicide in 1993 by hammering a knife into her chest where it lodged in her sternum. However, she changed her mind and called Rod Swenson, her partner for more than 20 years, to take her to the hospital. Her last suicide attempt was successful, she died April 6, 1998 at age 48.

Lemmy did it differently, letting poor health take his life. On 28 December 2015, four days after his 70th birthday, Lemmy died at his apartment in Los Angeles from prostate cancer, congestive heart failure, and cardiac arrhythmia.

Given the amounts of alcohol that he imbibed on a daily basis along with the long term drug use, that he made it to 70 was truly amazing.

In case nobody noticed...Caro Emerald's video "Liquid Lunch" has a train in it. Are there any Dutch toy train makers, maybe it's just a Marklin?!?!?!

I'm officially hooked on her, she's so jiggly :D

No train in the "Liquid Lunch" by Caro that I watched.
There was an ocean liner in the lyrics...

I just can’t apologize
For what I did to myself
My bed’s an ocean liner
And I can’t call for help

Like so many Dutch women, Caro Emerald (Birth name: Caroline Esmeralda van der Leeuw) is gorgeous, but her singing...

I have always liked Roy Orbison but there are new singers coming up that are better.

"Blue Bayou" is the title of a song written by Roy Orbison and Joe Melson. It was originally sung and recorded by Orbison, who had an international hit with his version in 1963.

It later became Linda Ronstadt's signature song, with which she scored a charting hit with her cover of "Blue Bayou" in 1977.

Then came Alisan Porter. Alisan blows both of them away singing her rendition of, "Blue Bayou."

"Crazy" is interesting.

"Crazy"

Crazy
I'm crazy for feeling so lonely
I'm crazy
Crazy for feeling so blue

I knew
You'd love me as long as you wanted
And someday
You'd leave me for somebody new.

Worry
Why do I let myself worry?
And I'm wondering, what in the world should I do?
Oh

Crazy
For thinkin' that my love could hold you
I'm crazy
For thinkin' that my love could hold you

I'm crazy for tryin' and crazy for cryin', and I'm crazy for lovin' you
I'm crazy for tryin' and crazy for cryin', and I'm crazy for lovin' you
Crazy for tryin' and crazy for cryin', and I'm crazy for lovin' you

Some of the others, like "Zerospace" are definitly fallen zerøs... below the glaciers.

Linda Ronstadt was a favorite of mine partly because of her versatility.

best way to compare bands is to listen to their version of The Band Played Waltzing Matilda. This is not waltzing Matilda. this song is about a red apple. i may have posted it before. To me the lady singing does a great job. cervene jablcko

Wayne,

The video in question is labeled the "official video" of Liquid Lunch. The model train scene is short, simple loop of track on the floor.

I listened to one last night of a song she sang that was originally one sung my Mama Cass. Now there's somebody that had some good pipes!

It is a Märklin HO Stud Rail (or Phanthom Rail) train.

This photo (off eBay) clearly shows the studs used for electrical pick-up.

......is more than respectable (OPINION) and she is a nice looking lady, but not anywhere near the top of my "LUST" list  (OPINION). It's all VERY subjective, and the old "One mans meat is another man's poison" applies.

Orbison and Ronstadt were the real deal for sure. Ms. Porter can sing but is nothing special (opinion).

Here is a real female musician (again opinion):
