Never heard of Caro Emerald. Having listened to the three examples you so kindly supplied, I am prepared to judge her singing.

Sounds a bit like Amy Winehouse.

At least the accompaniment arrangements were a little different from most. The drum back beat was a little tedious.

This song reminds me of swing music from the big band era and the dancers look like they are doing the jitterbug or a swing dance

I'd rather listen to Christina Scabbia: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wfRHPsRGkk

Better.
Set Me Free
Set me free
your heaven's a lie
set me free with you love
set me free, yeah
Dolefully desired
Although frequently labeled as an anti-religion song, "Heaven's a lie" was not intended to be interpreted literally. In an interview with HighWireDaze.com, leading vocalist Cristina Scabbia explained the meaning of the song; the word "heaven" is a metaphor for a "perfect life". When the phrase "your heaven's a lie" is used, it is referring to people who try to force their opinions on others.
Co-vocalist Andrea Ferro refers to this theme at their concerts as a song about freedom of ideas.
"Enjoy the Silence"
Must be a myriad interpretations to that one. I have my own (of course.) Enjoy the Silence means, "Don't speak, just let me see you and enjoy being with you." I remember enjoying silent time with my wife as much as our conversations.

OK, OK, so I realize it wasn't "Dueling Tubas"!

I find all of the above interesting but so you know how uninteresting my tastes are in music my favorite singers are Jackie Evancho, Sarah Brightman and Frank Sinatra. I do like some others but not to the extent of those three. I'm sure this is a mistake to list them here.
