Cute little girl. Probably not the best idea to let her think setting INSIDE (actually anywhere near) the rails is a good idea!

Remarkable.
Staged? Caught by happenstance?
A window into somewhere. I'm not sure where, though.

Yes, from Broad City. Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson got on board the subway train and walk through the cars from front to back, seeing all the weird stuff that goes on on the New York Subway. These scenes are just a small sample.

Made no sense to me but I am in love with the Abbi character so I don't care if I don't understand what they are doing.

I love'm both, but I'm partial to Ilana. She's a wild thing. 8)

When ya get out of high school and there are no longer captured-audiences for you, this happens. That's one of the nice things about riding the subways in NYC,. There is often entertainment available, in a wide variety of genres.

(Even I roller-skated in and around them, several decades and a hundred pounds less ago, knowing it was against the law, but the chase was on!_)

Can you imagine what excellent shape that young man must be in to hold himself up like that?

Also, the only times I have ever touched those vertical poles has been when I absolutely had to, after which I made sure I cleaned my hands and never touched my face (mouth; ears; nose) before doing so.

My guess is since the scenes say Comedy Central they were staged in some way. Just that the girls (can I still say girls?) were on the train was staged.

No guessing, you are absolutely correct.

It was all scripted and staged, Roger. It was on an episode of Broad City, which plays on Comedy Central. Here's the scene: http://www.cc.com/video-clips/vh9ebx/broad-city-subway-encounters
Torturers, White Racists, Gay Bashers, Rich Psychopaths.

Murph, you just insulted my friend Roy's favorite actress on that show. You get a black star for that: Image
