I looked it as well -- movies I've never heard of and some that I did not recognize as ones he was in....

He does do the oddball stuff very well -- "Ed Wood" was amazing but not a movie for everyone -- Ed Wood was the guy that made "Plan 9 From Outer Space" - had Bill Murray and George "the Animal" Steel in it; Martin Landau got an a well deserved Oscar for playing Bela Lugosi.

Apparently, there is a new King Kong coming out, and it looks pretty rowdy.

If you mean incredibly stupid with gobs of CGI, then yes, rowdy.

I am far, far more interested in "Ghost in the Shell" at the end of the month.....

Years ago I tried to watch as much of the original anime movies and shows - rather good stuff.

From the clips pimping it (Ghost in the Shell) on the idiot box, it appears your above description may fit it equally well.

Possibly so, but then it was originally 100% animated.......but fortunately not yet another remake/sequel/etc. of King Kong......

As a kid I always liked the Fireball XL5 TV shows:

I went on Youtube and found a few, but then ran across some newer "Team America" movies (folks who did South Park), hilarious (and sick):

Speaking of animations, though a TV show, can somebody tell me, if you don't mind saying it here on this thread, who the intended audience for "South Park" is?! It seems so kookoo !!!! Children? Adults? Both? The demented? Everybody normal (and I'm the odd-guy out)?

Did you ever catch the actual FIRST sequel to King Kong? Called "Son of Kong"? A bit more original (opinion) than all the other remakes that followed "King Kong". No mention of "Mrs. Kong" to date.
