I have ordered a German copy of the book from Amazon as I couldn't find an English language version at any price (I took German in college and it's rusty, but I have a better go at that than any other language it's been printed in). There's some truly amazing stuff routinely coming out of Europe that even comic books fans in the US have no idea of.

I ordered a French copy from Amazon.fr because I can read French. €8.50 shipping charges... too bad the local book stores cannot get it for me.
The video demo of the "enhanced thing" appears to be greatly exaggerated. I am hoping the book comes with a CD inside one of the covers, like some of my books. If so, will I be able to make it run on my computer?

My French copy arrived today. It is in English. No CD or any mention of an enhanced experience.

The story line has Elya shoveling coal as well as driving the engine. Who should drive the engine, Elya, the driver, or Leon Van Bel, the machinist? In the back of the comic book I found this information:

If that were on a layout and a person hadn't seen that photo or the engine in real life, some folks might have thought that engine to be just a toy of great fantasy and imagination. Not real.

I like it!

If one were available in O scale I would have to have it running about into tunnels endlessly just to satisfy my Freudian side.
