Looks to me as if she is sitting on a john, crapper, toilet or whatever you call it.
She looks good but the loco still looks ugly to me.

I have ordered a German copy of the book from Amazon as I couldn't find an English language version at any price (I took German in college and it's rusty, but I have a better go at that than any other language it's been printed in). There's some truly amazing stuff routinely coming out of Europe that even comic books fans in the US have no idea of.

I ordered a French copy from Amazon.fr because I can read French. €8.50 shipping charges... too bad the local book stores cannot get it for me.

The video demo of the "enhanced thing" appears to be greatly exaggerated. I am hoping the book comes with a CD inside one of the covers, like some of my books. If so, will I be able to make it run on my computer?

The girl is sitting one of the struts that support the smoke deflectors.

As far as not liking the loco looks, as they say, "There is no accounting for taste" which means: You can't explain why some people like/prefer certain things, which others don't like/prefer.

I may be the only one who like the looks of the BL-2 (because it is different.)

Strangely enough, I like the streamlined look of the BL-2.

The logging industry, esp. back in the
1890's , used flatcars brought into the forest as part of trains for transportation of equipment , men, and for other such practical needs. I think I have a picture somewhere.

I, too, like the BL2; why, because the WM had them.

I am surprised. :o

We have enough "likes" to start an EMD BL2 fan club.

LIKE
Dave (I, too, like the BL2)
Maroon (I just like the BL-2)
Brother Love (He's a fan of them)
Hev (Hev bought one after seeing mine)
herronpeter [These are really neat (to me)]
Roger (Strangely enough, I like the streamlined look of the BL-2)

LIKE NOT
Turner (ugly little thing)
Mitch (can't remember what he said, think it was negative)
