The golden age of motorcycles or just craziness:

That's Indian the country, not Indian the brand. It's a good thing I'm too old and beat-up to jump into this stuff.

I like the military green bike, and the Morgan:

Is this the same Morgan known for their three-wheeled cars?

Yes, and Morgan still makes 3-wheelers, I believe.

I've never seen one of these without the signature leather strap holding the bonnet in place. Is this current production?

This link was in Healey's "Review for the 500" link. It's dated 7/27/2015:

Maybe I'm old fashioned (or just old), but those LED headlamps are hideous...

I agree. They just look out of place on that car.

H.D. Will need to reinvent themselves. Currently they’re a life style not a good motorcycle. Their profitability comes from designers clothes. Europe already hammers Harley. Their bikes are to loud, too dirty and oversized cubic centimeters. 1000 ccs is max in Europe or pay a large tariff. They make a 883 cc in India to avoid this tariff.

Royal Enfield buying Ducati pretty much tells you where HD is headed. Branding only gets you so far...the only thing older than HD’s product line is their clientele.

It might be enlightening if everyone were to read the whole article from the BBC
https://www.bbc.com/news/business-44604280

In the article it states that Harley already has assembly plants in Australia, Brazil, India and Thailand.

"It is worth mentioning that Harley could make the decision to shift production because it had chosen, in 2017, to open a new manufacturing plant in Thailand."

"At the time, the company said it was moving manufacturing there to avoid a different tariff: this one being the 60% duty levied on Thai imports."

Harley was already in the process of transferring work to Thailand as they shut down their Kansas City plant. Why not, you can make more money using cheap Asian labor.
