It's still raining down here in Portsmouth, been doing it all day. I had 4 people actually come out and try to play golf!!!

Yeah, golfers are in a group by themselves. Never understood the absolutely mind consuming zealousness of some golfers for the game.

One of them did have a cart cover, but you still have to get out to hit the ball.

The ones that get me are those that stay out on the course after I blow the thunder/lightning horn, I can only do so much

Let them know that after the 3rd blast on the horn that you unleash the hounds.

In the low 60's this morning........and last night had the doors open to the deck after grilling burgers.

All the rain has not helped either - son did not lime the garden, so I'm about to pull the tomato plants anyway..... Peppers are doing good though as are the egg plant.

Soil where his garden is needs it - tomatoes get those black spots on them and rot usually is related to to much acid in the soil. Soil in the county garden plots has not been well cared for over the years.

My tomatoes have done nothing this year, as last. I'm wondering where I went wrong. Garden was liberally fertilized with composted manure, plenty of water, plenty of sun. Plants are rather spindly...not sure what's up.
