White Vinegar, Malt Vinegar, and Tomato Vinegar (aka Ketchup) on fries are common Murph.

Interesting to learn. Up to this moment, I thought the only place in the world where such a dish, known locally in Kennywood Park, at this shrine for skinny, crisp, white vinegar-sprinkled fries, was solely at this refreshment stand (seen below, at the bottom), located at a juncture between "Noah's Ark" and the Merry-go-round. We thought the fries-n-vinegar were an oddity but tasty (even though they made you gasp if you ate them too enthusiastically .)
P.S. Most revelers knew not to have a frozen custard cone, from the same stand, immediately preceding or too soon after the fries. We also avoided rides that spun us around in circles, for quite some time after indulging in those sharp fries. :(

I know people that like vinegar on popcorn.

Not saying it's wrong on face value and we certainly have a world of keyboard geniuses, but it wrongly assumes people aspire to be any of those occupations listed.

I have never tried the white vinegar. I found out it is popular in eastern Canada, eastern United States and all over the British Isles because I have internet access. I knew about Malt Vinegar because the local Long John Silvers had it for their fish & chips. My favorite is still ketchup.

Always liked Long Johns F&C with malt vinegar. It's about as authentic as you can get in the midwest. Would love to try some real F&C or east coast F&C sometime, as I'm sure it's better.

Of course they do! Everything served at Long John Silver's goes better with a vinegar sprinkle.

Thanks, Wayne.

I remember learning of deep fried ice cream. I think that was the start of this silliness. There's some guy at one of the state fairs who deep fries just about anything edible.

Anyone here tried Kool-Aid pickles?

Yesterday , in attendance at a wedding, my wife and I took particular note of this statement within the couple's vows:
Better than being loved is loving.

I'm still thinking about that.
