I love these, and it doesn't seem to matter that I don't know the area.
Keep 'em coming!

Ok, here's the crew at the Hagerstown station - not a RPPC but an actual photo - managed to score a handful or so of these over the years before the nutters drove prices out of sight and budget.

What is really funny here is that my Greate Grandfather was a fireman on the CVRR.
His son my Greate Uncle Frank (still alive today) was a boiler maker on the Pennsy.
I actually have a book on this railroad, a gift frm my loving wife.

An interestig sidenote is the last nam of the author, this name isn in my family history, not sure if there is relation or not...

Some interesting stuff for sure.

The Westhaeffer book is close to being the only reference book on this RR. There are other small softbound pamphlet sized publications of various aspects of the CVRR, but little else is out there.

Here's the night yard crew on #80 - H6a - somewhere between 1903 and 1919. Not a post card but a real photograph.

Excellent avatar Rufus. Looks like Martin Frobisher watching the Armada being driven past the Isle of Wight.
You begin flying with a full bag of luck and an empty bag for experience. The object is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.
