That's a good one. I'm saving it for future use .

I hesitated to post it because I thought it was kind of a dumb joke.

"Dumb" can be good, even useful. Everything doesn't have to be dead-serious.

I kind of thought it was a cheap shot at Catholics...
Just my opinion but there is no way on gods green earth that a nun (sister) is going to be wearing a string bikini out in public on a beach in HAWAII.

No, they do an incredible job of painting a target on their backs and so should be really prepared for anything.

"They" ?
Or an obscene tiny mini-minority which has shamed the many - the they ?

No, the entire organization has done a great job of making themselves a target of both humorists and satirists for centuries.
Now everybody sing!
Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best
And always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the light side of life
If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle, that's the thing
And always look on the bright side of life
Come on!
Always look on the right side of life
For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow
Forget about your sin
Give the audience a grin
Enjoy it, it's your last chance anyhow
So, always look on the bright side of death
A-just before you draw your terminal breath
Life's a piece of shit
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you
And always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the right side of life
C'mon Brian, cheer up!
Always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the bright side of life
Worse things happen at sea, you know
Always look on the bright side of life
I mean, what have you got to lose
You know, you come from nothing, you're going back to nothing
What have you lost? Nothing!
Always look on the right side of life...
Nothing will come from nothing, you know what they say?
Cheer up you old bugger, c'mon give us a grin!
There you are, see, it's the end of the film
Incidentally, this record is available in the foyer
Some of us have to got live as well, you know
Who do you think pays for all this rubbish
They're not gonna make their money back, you know
I told them, I said to them, Bernie,
I said they'll never make their money back
Blessed are the cheese makers!

Those clergy who have offended and shamed The Church betrayed and drove their own extra nails into outstretched limbs, added an extra Crown of Thorns , and drove in an extra spear by indulging themselves .
The Body Church is wounded deeply. That majority They have not been spared.
Trust me.

Good for them. The ones that stood and watched, and did nothing, or hid everything from sight are still there.

Re: Never question a Drunk!
And the angel of the lord came unto me, snatching me up from my place of slumber.
And took me on high, and higher still until we moved to the spaces betwixt the air itself.
And he brought me into a vast farmlands of our own Midwest.
And as we descended, cries of impending doom rose from the soil.
One thousand, nay a million voices full of fear. And terror possessed me then
And I begged, "Angel of the Lord, what are these tortured screams?"
And the angel said unto me, "These are the cries of the carrots, the cries of the carrots!
You see, Reverend Maynard, tomorrow is harvest day and to them it is the holocaust."
And I sprang from my slumber drenched in sweat like the tears of one million terrified brothers and roared,
"Hear me now, I have seen the light! They have a consciousness, they have a life, they have a soul! Damn you!
Let the rabbits wear glasses! Save our brothers!"
Can I get an amen? Can I get a hallelujah? Thank you Jesus
This is necessary

No. Just another point of view. Those are allowed last I checked unless the entire world has suddenly gone monochromatic, which would be terribly sad and boring, and totally bereft of any rational thought whatsoever. Everything gray and in lockstep. How tidy.

One of the Progzilla shows plays it regularly. Does put an interesting spin on things.....

Perhaps it was what I perceived as condescending, ironic sarcasm that misguided me. My error. Your intentions must have been pure as ever, of course.
