Reminds me of the old David Brenner joke:

Brenner's Uncle Moe, who lived in New Jersey, had a battered recliner that he wanted to get rid of. His trash man refused to take it away and a local junk dealer didn't want it. He called a guy who could haul it to the dump, but he wanted $50 to make the trip.

Than Moe had an idea. He dragged it down to the end of his driveway and put a sign on it:

"Antique Lithuanian reading chaise - $500"

Twenty minutes later someone stole it.

Healey,

You would be amazed at the stuff that I set out in the front yard that is NEVER seen by the trash collector. I set an item out with a free sign on it and it sat there for 2 days. Took away the free sign......POOF!

PA....almost as good as Jersey

Rufus,

This won't make sense in the future, when you metamorphosis into someone else, but... I'll see your Eraserhead and raise you a Lyle Lovett.

It is Lyle's birthday today, he is 57.

Edit 1: Forgot to add one year to Lyle's age... 57+1=58. There, fixed it!

Anything is better than that melting-Wayne you have had for a while now, which I thought was unworthy of you. Yup. How 'bout the next avatar being of the real you standing next to your bike? That would be cool. Eh?

More of a call than a raise,      Both are raised more than too much.

It is Lyle's birthday today, he is 57.

And here I thought he was older than me.....

When you look at things, it's ALL temporary. Some shorter, some longer, so for a span of time, he was probably doing pretty well!

PS: Too bad they didn't have kids. Might have been some interesting offspring.

Nah (!?)...Clearly a matter for the President of Freedonia to consider, after talking it over with Mrs. Teasdale, o' course, while enjoying a bit of duck soup.
