I guess...that and how many meds Nurse Ratchet gave you. Cheney got us into a war that will never end and made billions while doing it. I guess you can admire that as some sort of an achievement and that if he's lucky he will only land him in a perpetual commute between the 3rd and 4th circle of Hell

Who the hell put Hell in the bible? Hell and the circles of hell are an invention of Dante Alighieri in his 14th-century epic poem Divine Comedy. Hell is not real.

Ecclesiastes 9:5 New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (NRSVCE)
5 The living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no more reward, and even the memory of them is lost.

So I ask you, Rufus, what good (or is it bad) would it do for Cheney to land in a perpetual commute between the 3rd and 4th circle of Hell. If he is alive, it is just a poem. If he is dead, he would know nothing about being anywhere.

There's an especially hot and smoggy spot in New Delhi for torturers like Cheney.

One of lesser pleasant suburbs of Calcutta comes to mind, although parts of Detroit might suffice

Is it really just a poem? There are more things in heaven and Earth, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

Taking the Bible literally is highly problematic particularly for those that choose to cherry pick it and then ignore the rest as being inconvenient; all or none.

Those distant faint screams you hear just could be the cries of the carrots just tomorrow is harvest day.........

I'm still trying to figure out if there is life on other planets. I have been a devotee of Carl Sagan and, now, Neil deGrasse Tyson(famed astrophysicist, at NY Natural History Museum/director of Hayden Planetarium and presenter of: Search for Life in the Universe.)

I periodically have grave doubts about this planet.

Yes, but don't forget, we have had Duck Soup's Freedonia (for encouragement.) One viewing of Cocoanuts and we know there is hope.

How's this for demented - your sentiment, there, reminded me of a long-favorite movie of mine from my yute: The Thing from Another World, with James Arness as the Thing (circa 1951). (Book: Who Goes There, I believe.)

And we also have had Bladerunner for another bright future...

It is an all or none. Just remember if someone decides to give you a test designed to provoke an emotional response.......that you might be a replicant.

Well, then I'll monitor my reactions here on the forum to a particular stimulus much more closely.

Have you ever thought about the possibility that we humans are the ones that are supposed to propagate the universe. We have not arrived at the point where we are capable of doing it. But when we get there we can go screw up all the other planets like we have this one.

Haven't seen her lately. I hear she's busy in Freedonia.
Cheney got us into a war that will never end and made billions while doing it.
Which war? The two in Iraq and Afghanistan were in good to fine shaoe before your hero the Muslim was elected. As for making billions? Please. Cite actual data.

If so, he'll have good company with your heroes.
