And furthermore, as you well know, I had looked forward to meeting you that time at my booth at the TCA Meet @ York, and as you know, I was not disappointed , finding you interesting, engaging, and thoughtful and with a kindness right to your core. Those positive qualities , and several more, add to your voice here.

In fact, just yesterday, I received the Christmas card in the mail and actually said, right out loud, upon opening it and seeing it was from you and your wife , "Wow! How nice!" The thoughtfulness meant a great deal to me, especially at this time in our respective lives. Once again, you were very pleasant to have come to know, one of the nicest benefits of ever having displayed my work and made acquaintances at York . Thank you for your thoughtfulness . It's part of your core, which is a blessing on those who meet you and visit a while.

General Flynn is advocating martial law, and a re-do of the election, presumably under military control and no mail ballots? Just guessing, I literally have no idea what is going on.

I don't think the military leadership will agree to martial law declared by an obviously unhinged President. Their oath is to defend the Constitution and citizens of the United States, not the ravings of a lunatic psychopath who just happens to be the unseated President/Command in Chief. But I could be wrong. The Electoral College meets in about 10 days and then most of us can breathe a sigh of relief that this long national nightmare is over.

I thought it was but maybe under a different topic. I also think, that unlike the general public, nenbers of MTJ understand the Electoral College.

The nincompoops get to pad their resume (or at least they think they do). They can further muck things up because they are nincompoops.

Without question they will cary out the nincompoop in chief's orders which seem to be based on his "bucket list" of not thought out "plans" that are primarily wish lists for former campaign promises with little thought of the actual real world consequences. I have no idea why he feels the need to do this as he can just as easily make up whatever stories he prefers. "Facts" are transactional in his mind. You pick and choose and warp the ones you like and ignore the rest, e.g. fake news, fake science, fake .....

Roger, we all serve many purposes for others in the course of a lifetime. I'm sure your children, grandchildren and other family members consider you of great value and purpose to them, even if you don't feel it every day. We are more than our careers. Indeed, I think for most of us, our greatest legacy is our children and family. I know I think about my own parents almost every day, and it has been almost a quarter of a century since they have been gone. My younger son still talks about his grandmother's lasagna, now made by his English mother .
