Americans buy everything else from the Chinese.

Not everything, but if we keep selling off all of our companies to China, it really won't matter anymore.

Where do the Chinese get the money to buy our companies. They get it from Americans that buy made in China.

China is also buying up farmland in America, Canada and Australia.

Foreign investors have been buying up America wholesale for decades. 1st the Japanese and now the Chinese and there have been/are others along the way. Eliminate the competition and you can name your price for whatever the product is. We are selling out the control of our country. :(

Try to buy companies in Japan or China.

Well, American companies have been purchasing stakes both major and minor in Japanese firms since the fifties. If you want to buy a Japanese company, their stock is primarily sold on the Nikkei.
As for Chinese companies, why in hell would anyone want to buy any "business" in a dictatorship. Sooner or later, the company will get "nationalized" again and you will lose your investment. I suspect that is why the rest of the world parks most of their wealth in the US, least chance of anything getting nationalized.

Lots of mythology there, re: Japan... Ford owned a 33% stake in Mazda for the better part of two decades, and the French Renault currently holds a 43% stake in Nissan. Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation is owned outright by Daimler AG. GM owned 22% of Fuji Heavy Industries (Subaru) up until the last few years. Just examples, many others as well.

TOYSRUS (Toys-ain't-us-no-mo ?)has a go-fund-me page, attempting to raise one BILLION dollars. One loyal fellow put in approx. $200.000, so far, and others contributed tens-of-thousands. ...

Must be nice to have $200k to burn - a lot fo people could live on that for a while.

P.S. I am surprised :o that only Rufus recognized a connection betwixt the avatar fellow in the hat and the dancing fellow doing this dance previously. :D

Really? A go-fund-me page? Really? One BILLION dollars. And then for guy with more money than brains, 200 grand? Wonder if he realizes that he'll need 4,999 more friends with 200 grand each to help save TOYSRUS? A billion dollars is 1000 million; to save a TOY company?

He'd be better off donating that 200 grand to St. Judes.
