That's what we were figuring, too, especially after seeing scenes like this one, right across the street from us. The adult and fawns had just left our yard.

I'll look for the bear sprays, though our pastor did give us both handy-dandy hand-holdable pepper sprays to carry in our pockets/cars. I've been spraying what's left of the shrubs with coyote urine but, I swear, it seems to be something they
like - maybe it makes them high, but I do not see them
avoiding the plants I have sprayed. And besides, I have wondered if the urine spray
attracts coyotes which have been reported to be on the increase, too - goodlord, we'll have them mating in the yard, deer frolicking thru, and the bear saying Howdy, bub.
