Seen in Print
Re: Seen in Print
The half pants lady has her shoes tied. If you stop looking at her naked leg you'll see she has an anti trump shirt on.
I spend entirely too many hours a day tying my shoes

Delightful. Leaves something to the imagination and presents a lady, not a collection of objet.
I had the impression from the look on her face in the one-pants-leg shot that the outfit was her idea. If it was some photographer/designer's idea, fine, I understand pushing-the-envelope in the fashion industry.
P.S. And yes, good ol' Wayne, I have noticed, more and more, old fogie-ness creeping in and upward. Alas.

As the literacy rate declines, you’ll ask yourself why the quality of life continues to deteriorate in ways large and small, and in almost every instance the answer will be: because people stopped reading.

As disheveled as she looks she took the time to tie her shoes. My other point is how many entertainers took promotional events as a way to bash our last few presidents. It is getting old.

Reading comprehension at its best........
Fortunately, our mailman will actually ring the bell to deliver stuff that won't fit in the mailbox. UPS and Fed-Ex will just throw it on the porch and run away.....

webenda wrote:Definition of pants
1 or less commonly pant, chiefly US: an outer garment covering each leg separately and usually extending from the waist to the ankle a pair of pants wearing short/long pants
—often used before another noun a pants leg
—sometimes used in the singular form--pant, especially before another noun and in clothing catalogs a pant leg - a classic khaki pant

You missed something at the end of the definition.
"...sometimes used in the singular form pant especially before another noun and in clothing catalogs - a pant leg - a classic khaki pant."
Both a pant leg and a classic khaki pant are given as examples. The distinction of importance is that pant is used synonymously with pants, or a pair of pants. So, the word "pant" exists in this context, but means something different from what the girl is wearing.

That's impossible. According to Hillary Clinton, only Trumps supports are deplorables and would purposely dress like some streetwalkers or worse, just to get attention or make a statement. Surely, no Clinton supporter would be caught wearing only half her pants. Oh, the humanities!
