The entire setting and times; the gritty nature of life depicted as it was then and then lastly you have a obvious interplay of 4 sets of brothers on the screen. The music fits as well.

Nice recommendation. I hope I come across it. Love those gritty-enriched films, like "Sisters of Mercy " (I think I got that title right, but I don't think I did; it's the one where the Carradine character, a 10-gallon-hat-wearing stud-favorite of the "ladies-of-the-house" gets shot-dead and falls into the creek below, from a rope bridge, by a boy; the movie [circa 1967?] with the Leonard Cohen song.)

I'm also partial to Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid as directed by Sam Peckinpah........and it's rather interesting cast of characters, and the music.

Not quite the film I had in mind. However, oddly titillating, nonetheless, bub. I'm surprised the woman was able to get out of the country alive, given her overall appearance, and was even allowed to be in the presence of those men without getting burka-fied and veiled (perhaps best for that hotone.) (I'm assuming she is not Michael Jackson in full-drag, uh?)

Yes, it was - The Long Riders. Takes place prior to the attempted robbery when some local in Northfield comes up to and inquires of the Pinkerton agent in charge. Took me a long time to track down the exact line and I think I ended up actually tracing it through the script.
