Thank you Wayne---a shot of train-waiting that I can enjoy without getting jitters about
safety violations...the young lady in question is safely back from the edge of the platform,
or at least ON the yellow line if not BEHIND it !

Other interesting aspects are the photographer's self-portrait (in the convex mirror hanging
from the umbrella roof next to the signals), and the yellow access ladder on the opposite
side of the track allowing access from the platform to the C&S apparatus on the track...
can't tell what it is, might be a transponder or an impedance bond.
Take care,
Wolfgang

Yellow box is an automatic train control (ATC) transponder.

Some observations: Judging from the "GWB" emblem on the seat, one might think she was headed for the George Washington Bridge from that station; however, the circa suggested by her clothing and the style of the locomotive suggest to me that the GWB hadn't been built /completed yet at the time of the photo. Plus, something about that locomotive suggests England, to me, and not the USA.

Something is seriously wrong with that model. I am making up an emergency food box for her. Anyone want to donate?

Prototype for the Barbie doll.
Perhaps an example of modern plastic surgery.

There's no way she caught the train in those heels.
