I have heard of getting your goose cooked...

But getting your moose cooked? (Or smoked in this case.)

And don't ask who that old lady in the left of my den is. I don't know either. She came with the house.

Whoever or whatever she is she would make a good looking president in our White House.
I might even have a little more incentive to live and do that other thing. Pay taxes.
I don't care if that doesn't make sense. :D :D :D :D :D :D

I like this idea better...
Since Coco has taken President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović's place in Croatia, my vote is for Kolinda if she runs as Coco for President of USA. She will have to leave that big dude husband of her's behind, his accent would give the ruse away.

Wayne,

Nothing to apologize for. The post you are quoting is about mine being out of place. My fault not yours.

How many miles per gallon of eggnog do you get?

Jon,

We have been right at 61 all day.
My son lived most of his life near Poughkeepsie,NY and moved here, Pembroke,
when he retired so he could ride his Harley more and he does. He says down to 45 is OK.
He comes over your way several times a year to meet with some friends and get his cycle
serviced. He saves money getting it serviced there and gets to see some friends.

Roger, that shop sounds better then the Harley shop I visited at Cape Cod a summer ago. There wasn't a single motorcycle in the store let alone a mechanic. Just tee shirt, leather, and jewelry sales. A true Harley boutique!  The blonde chick that managed the shop was pretty hot though.

....

When I was considerably younger (and trimmer) I used to ride my Honda 550 Nighthawk in all kinds of weather. At certain speeds, rain drops felt like B-B's. Also, I have the theory that for every increase in speed there is a commensurate drop in temperature, esp. in the winter months when it is snowing. There must be some kind of chart for such a relationship.

For example, back in the 60's, I used to ride from Springfield, Ohio to Yellow Springs, Ohio in the dead-of-winter, even when it was snowing, because I had a part-time job at a lumber company (Wick's?) to keep me current with my tuition, etc. On one of the return trips to my college, I was so cold the entire bike shook & shivered with me, the whole trip. When I parked at the student union/cafeteria, I walked inside, went through the cafeteria hot food line, still shivering, and when I sat down to eat, the guy next to me moved one seat away saying that the cold was radiating off me so much that it made him cold just sitting there. I think that was the coldest I have ever been in my life, and that includes sled riding as a boy when I did not have the sense to get out of the cold and go inside to warm up. (We were having too much fun.)

I have no regrets. :D
