On Facebook there is a group named "Vintage Philadelphia" that frequently posts photos of Philly area trolleys. In many of the photos the supporting trolley wires are invisible. So, don't worry about it....(hoping all along that nobody but the President of Freedoniawould notice the absence of trolley-pole lines overhead).
Some more trolleys....C&G, CG&W, H&F, and others....

I think street cars were killed in our area in 1946.
The buses that replaced them stank. Diesel fuel smell.
I still don't like buses.
Streetcars just smelled better even if they were dirty.

Dayton,Ohio had trolley buses for some time.
They are probably gone.
They didn't smell like buses, just looked like them.
They still were not as much fun to ride as street cars.

I like the plow - single throw wood body. Funky. Again, another odd trolley prototype.

Dave,
The ones they had in Dayton back then looked more like the one you show in the museum.
Thanks.

Rufus,
Hmmmm.
What you say is S & S looks to be an electric.
All the info I have show it as a steam road.
Maybe the rear car is S & S. ????

They do have a certain utilitarian appearance; no frills and workmanlike.
