Wayne, ROFL

Ah, the vagaries of the English language.

Hondo, your list has broadened my knowledge. Are those what are called 'oxymorons?'

I would call Hondo's list oxymorons.

An oxymoron is a figure of speech that combines contradictory words with opposing meanings, like “organized chaos.” Oxymorons may seem illogical at first, but in context they usually make sense.
--Grammarly

The English word oxymoron comes from the Greek oxus (sharp) plus moros (foolish). Combined the Greek word oxumoros means pointedly foolish.
