Wait, I thought we had the best...

I see that the governor of Pa. is reintroducing bar and restaurant restrictions as infections turn north, effective tomorrow (07/16) evening.

It's excellent if you are an insurance company........but maybe New Zealand did just a wee bit better. Iceland.....couple of the Scandinavian did better; Sweden failed but managed to eliminate old people.

However, I really don't see that argument as a useful given the resources and abilities that this country could have brought to bear instead of pretending it was not real. Better to go figure out how the US managed to not manage.

Backsliding fearlessly...........wait, that's a Mott the Hoople song, Hmmmmm.......might still apply.

Philadelphia's school system announced their opening plan today. 2 days in school and 3 remote learning. Then said "well that's not in stone" I can only imagine my area of the suburbs would go with the same plan. If you want to see some far fetched demands. look into what the LA. teacher's union wants.

Just got back from the library drive through/pickup. On the way to the site and back I passed a couple of restaurants, the center of town "park", and a soft serve establishment called "Dairy Go Round". The lack of social distancing and masks was pretty appalling. Dairy Go Round was the worst. People in line to place orders were not wearing masks, groups greater than six were clustered around the tables that were not six feet apart. Doesn't look good for the long haul.

Central Bucks School district just posted their school year options. They have 2 options to vote on. 2 days in school with 3 days at home. Option 2 full time at home. I'm glad i picked an online charter school. IT will be a large financial burden to have a one income household. That is for sure. 2020 is shot and 2021 has a bombsight locking onto it.

I wonder if China will be made to pay for unleashing this biological weapon on the world. I sure hope so.

If Americans gad long term memories’ China would pay. Don’t buy their product. Hit them in the wallet. Slam the door shut on their manufacturing. Most of the products they make. We don’t need

Time to bite the bullet on those, I think.
