My mind filled up years ago. When I want to put something new in I have to discard something.

Nnaaaah, don't believe it - there's a pretty regular stream of ideas and info flowing out of it - much to the benefit of many of us here - so you'll always have room for more, I am sure.

Take that cat remark, for example. Now there's a little kitty-ditty I had never heard before you stated it here, and I have been quoting it ever since (to minds open to such clever utterings,) and have reaped the benefit of being considered a clever 8) dude - if just for a moment, or two. :?

Note the size of the head in proportion to his body. I believe him.

Morning bo's - if any of you are up! Just thought I'd give yer a "Hi!" aint nothin' happenin' down our neck of the woods yet. no thats a lie, theres too damn much happenin! Jist bidin' my time, tryin' to keep it all together and not screw up by doin' anything stupid (like visiting Trainland, fer example!)

I reckon by the time we actually get moved into our new house I'll be flat broke! I gave up keeping track of who gets what, just keep signing assent forms for all sorts of things I never heard of but just to make sure there aint no horrible surprises when the money runs out like needing a new septic or pump installation.

Ma and me are sittin' here in front of the AC tryin' not to think about all the things that could go wrong. Aint got time to be thinking about trains or anything else really. I think I've read over fifty books in the last week and ma spends her time reading all the bad news on the Huffington Post and painting a picture of gloom and doom about no money, no food, no nothing and the worlds going to hell in a handbasket, she says.

I'm reminded of that famous WW1 cartoon of two soldiers in a shell hole in Flanders and the older one is saying to the younger one "If you knows a better 'ole - go to it!"

I agree with Ma but I'm still gonna enjoy my family, my hobby and my hobby related friends. Even those I have never met in person.

Thought you hobos might want to know that I finally managed to get my 1950 LE MK1 Velocette running after it sat for 25 years quietly waiting in the barn. Took D for a ride yesterday. I think we might have hit 34 mph, which was pretty thrilling. Maybe Wayne can post a photo of the bike. Hope you're all having a wonderful summer.
