Those scumbags protested a funeral of a murdered girl here in our town last year, some guy broke the windows out of their van and slashed their tires he was arrested but folks were at te jail to pay his bail and shake his hand. chief

The KSG 15 round bull-pup shotgun looks like an ideal weapon to use against any zombies that get into your house. Being short, it is easier to handle in tight quarters, such as hallways, than a longer shotgun.

For home protection a pump shotgun is a safer weapon for most people. I know you would keep it locked up, but kids find ways to play with real guns all the time. Pump shotguns are more difficult for small children to accidentally discharge because of the weight and pumping operation. Shotgun shells loaded with shot size No. 6 or No. 7 will disable an intruder but will not pass through most walls. Bullets from a handgun can pass through walls and into adjacent homes.

A shotgun has an advantage over a handgun if you are nervous. You are more likely to disable an intruder with a shotgun due to the shot pattern. I have stopped to watch little gang kids practicing with a handgun out in the desert. Never saw one hit a target. It takes training to be able to use a handgun accurately.

You might not have to fire it, just the look of a KSG 15 round bull-pup shotgun might discourage intruders. There is no more effective sound in stopping a criminal in his tracks than the "chuck-clunk" of a shotgun shell being pumped into the chamber. Have you ever been on the wrong end of a shotgun when it was discharged? I have and let me tell you, "they are LOUD!" If you fire a warning shot the noise alone might make an intruder change his mind. (There are more advantages to not shooting an intruder than in shooting one.)

I know you asked Jon what he would use if for, but I couldn't resist pointing out how useful a KSG 15 round bull-pup shotgun could be for all of us.

Why does it have that toothed rail or rack on the top of the barrel? What's its purpose, I couldnt figure it out.

Mike, That's whats known as a picatinny rail, named because it was developed by the Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey. The rail was originally for scopes. However, once established, the use of the system was expanded to other accessories, such as tactical lights, laser aiming modules, night vision devices, reflex sights, foregrips, bipods, and bayonets.
