So do I. The Cheerful Charlies at Camp Siberia, the stirring tail of Handle and Gristle, and a bug the calibre of Fremont running for president under the slogan, "Jes' Fine."

Was at my place in PA for the first time this year on Friday. Never seen that degree of flooding up there since the hurricane in the 70's. I'm not down in the valley and I've got 2 little pods of water where I've never had standing water before. You can see where water came down the mountain like a wave and left ripples on parts of my yard area.......

Anyway, much to my yearly relief - no significant damage after what was a cold & windy winter.........

So we go out and do a little brushpile re-organization since there's no weeds, etc and it fo course starts to snow - snowed all afternoon.....

but the next day was nice and clear, except I can see my new neighbors across the fields and Rt. 75.

I hope the Amish plant something in my fields that grows extra tall this year!

I'm SW of there -- Less than an hour - have to go over the mountain into Horse Valley in Perry County through New Germantown. Have not been to Blain for a number of years; was in New Germantown last summer (I think?) tracking down a larger trailer to go behind my Cub tractor.

That and the flooding were the big news.

I'm sort of thinking that the good folks of Perry Co. just might have a little something to say to these idiots....

I have to agree with the supreme court on their recent ruling in the westboro case. But those are some of the stupidest, most hateful dirt bags to ever walk the planet. When Fred Phelps dies there should be a long line of people there to protest those jerks. Chief

That's actually far too generous for some one that advocates their beliefs and behaviors.

Buried head down at the crossroads and then stampede a herd of horses through there.....

Oh, the First Amendment must be protected, however, what they do is not free speech, it borders on trespassing as well as trailer-trash tacky!

I"ll be there, with un-corked pipes on the Jeep, flying an Air Force flag, and a few thousand watts of oh, say, Scorpions and Ozzy Osbourne blasting from the speakers!
