I hope he is okay and wonder where he's been, too. (If he's out in a forest alone somewhere sayin' something and no woman hears him, is he still wrong? )

I'm doin' just fine, guys. (Just severe depression from the 33 days of suppression of my nicotine addiction).

Charapp Chrysler Jeep Dodge officially closed the Kittanning store as of May, 2. This was a rural store along rte 422 just a few miles east of Kittanning, and never really did all that well when times were good. It was doin' terrible now that times are bad. Most unsold '09s will go back to Chrysler to be divided up to us or other dealers, and the unsold '08s and the used cars will come down to our store. We're still holdin' our own in the shop, but sales are in bad shape.

I'll probably get some flack from New England for sayin' this, but Chrysler did what should have been done last November, before they took any money from the government. The administration set a deadline of May 1 for Cerebus to come up with a plan (joint venture-Fiat), or to allow them to go into bankruptcy. (Funny that they gave GM 2 months instead of 1). But then, the administration offered 8.5 billion to keep them goin', only if the UAW would get 55% of the company. I've been sayin' all along that the gov don't give a **** about the corporation, they're doin' it all to save the jobs of the people who donated millions to their campaigns. The 8.5 billion amounted to about $0.35 on the dollar, and government control. The shareholders decided to take their chances in Bankruptcy Court.

I can only hope GM follows suit, and tells the gov fuckoff, files chapter 11, reorganizes, and comes back meaner and leaner.

Amen to that Mitch. What a waste of money the bailout fiasco was. :x

Same here Mitch the government and the nitwits in congress couldn't run a lemonade stand. Free enterprise and hardworking americans built this country into what it is in spite of government meddling. Hope nothing but the best for you Mitch.

Guess that's why I never played golf; I shot an 87. 1st hole, 11 over, 13th hole, 11 over, 14th hole, 15 over!
