San,

You were thinking of George Orwell's Winston Smith?

San,

IMHO Amtrak is a "failure" because of congress. If "they" really wanted any kind of passenger service it would have happened years ago.

San, government and rail is a long topic and you can find the true story if you want. The trolley system was the first to be ruined. GM, Standard OIl, and Goodyear actually hired a guy to do it. Then Nixon tried to destroy passenger service in America with Amtrak. He failed. The difference now is that Obama, finally a president not connected to oil, car, and rubber interests will actually create a rail service as opposed to trying to destroy it.

Jon, I had no idea you're that tough.

Tramp,

IMO it will not get through Congress in a really usable form.

And, it shouldn't. Least not 'til Congress recinds the trillion they've blown on the union payback, (I'm sorry, I meant so called stimulus). Christ, I'm so sick of hearin' Obama, God's gift to the United States. Oh thank you, Lord, for sending this incredible liberal communist to save our nation by spending us into oblivion. We worship the ground that he walks on..... BULLSHIT.

Mitch, you need a beer. Better make that three. I'll buy since it's Friday and Obama's economy fixes made me a small fortune in the market. Cheers!

San, I got your weekend covered as well. Thanks for holding me during the dry days.

Do any of you guys live near here?

Better sink a shot in that beer, too.

Durham twnsp. is in the northeast corner of Bucks County, and sits right on the Delaware.

Spring is coming
Soon grass will riz
But already sittin' on a fencepost out yonder in the backyard
A bluebird is.

She's here at the college this weekend. I liked her photos and the concept behind taking them.

Durham Township..................yes been there many many times. Hauled shelled corn out of that area to Lancaster County to the big feed mills. It is beautiful country there. It sorta reminds me of the area where I live. Jim P lives not far from that area.

Gee Mitch you know he is sorry for offending you, after all he has kissed everybody's *** and apologized to any world jerk he could find. Now if you think we pay too many taxes we are just right wing extremists and racists. And I thought the clintons could come up with some real bs statements. chief
